The rain didn't exactly treat us as well on Sunday. Instead, it just absolutely poured. As a result, our planned hike in the Quechee Gorge was cancelled. Instead, we spent a good while at Simon Pearce to watch the glass blowers do their thing. Ben was completely fascinated by it. Just look at that face in the picture. He kept commenting on how hot the fire was, told me that the glass looked like honey while it was
hot, and really enjoyed watching the whole process step by step, over and over again as they made wine glasses.
On our way home, we stopped at the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, VT. It was a really neat place. We have likened it to our Mayborn Museum on steriods. It was a great place for the boys to get some energy out and be able to do something fun together before returning to Concord. We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our weekend. The beautiful scenery, the great company, and the hilarity of 6 boys under the age of 7 living life to the fullest.
