that boy's brain

Will amazed Jim and I with this drawing that he did on Monday night. It's a picture of his hand drawing a picture of his hand, drawing a picture of his hand. He had told me earlier in the day that he had been in art class at school and was supposed to just do free drawing. This was what he came up with on his own in art class, and he replicated it for us at home. Sometimes the way that boy's brain works amazes me.

Here's an up-close (sorry it's sideways) so you can see the detail he created in the picture. He drew a knot in the wood on the table, and the details on the fingers & pencil just kill me...

Jim's art gene definately took root in his DNA. Now I just need to collect a good Ben anecdote so we can give equal time on the blog. For those of you who know Ben, you know there will be something posted in no time.
