I bought the boys new pajamas the other day. I tend to buy them a size larger than the clothes they wear because they are so skin tight and don't last as long otherwise. Last night, with their room still a mess and a need for warmer weather pajamas, I pulled out their new ones. When I put them on Ben, he cracked up because the pants were so big the waist came up to his armpits almost. He immediately asked if he could have some "too big socks". Will's weren't good enough. He wanted Daddy's. So, we got a pair of Jim's socks. After donning those, he asked for a pair of my "sneakers" to wear. Eventually, I realized he meant slippers, not sneakers. So, wearing his "too big" outfit, he then came bounding into the den declaring "I'm Captain Pajamas!!!" When I asked him what Captain Pajamas did, he said, "Fight those nasty pajamas!" Then he did some fancy Captain Pajamas poses for me in the kitchen:

Here's a picture of the boys' new room. I think the color looks a little brighter in this picture than in real life. And the red in the quilts doesn't show,so the red looks totally random...but you get the idea. The boys are warming up to it (they said some teary goodbyes to their old quilts today) and are sleeping in it for the first time tonight.
