fall carnival

We enjoyed the boys' school carnival this year. Ben headed straightaway to the bounce house that was being manned by the Kindergarten teachers. I do believe that he's enamored by his teacher. You should see his face when he talks about her; a grin ear to ear.


I love how Ben's friend Ellie is looking at him in the second picture. Just this week, Ben told me that Ellie is his favorite friend at school. She goes to church with us, so you'd think they would get enough of each other. But even this week on our way into church, Ellie went out of her way to greet Ben while we were in the parking lot. It's so sweet to see your children have friends who so obviously adore them (and who your children adore in return).


Will was pretty focused all evening on spending tickets and earning little plastic toys. He had a ball and enjoyed his friends, too.
